In-the-string adjustability.

Our patented feature allows operations to quickly and easily adjust the jar, allowing the jar to fire at different settings due to changing well conditions or tool string configurations.  This time saving feature can save operations time and money.

Plug and Shoot operations are demanding and require multiple services on location.  Any type of failure can cause huge delays and be very expensive.  When a plug will not shear or release properly, delays ensue and thousands of dollars in standby time begin.  The Xcalibur 2.75 was designed to eliminate this scenario in particular.    The thru-wired tool is run just above the setting tool, if the plug does not release as intended, the jar is activated, the pins shear, and operations continue as planned.

Run Xcalibur as a straight e-line jar using the latest fluid-to-air technology (pressure terminals and boots) and through-wire. Add slickline crossovers for use on a typical slickline tool string. Or remove the wiring and e-line subs and install slickline subs to configure Xcalibur as a straight slickline jar. Conversions back and forth are simple and straightforward; and you'll always enjoy the inherent safety of a superior mechanical jar unaffected by temperature, pressure, and most well conditions -- a jar that resets instantly, instead of in minutes, to deliver multiple impacts in less time than other jars need to cycle once.
