With more than two thousand successful runs to its credit, the all-mechanical, Open-Hole MCT sets the standard for efficient and dependable multi-conductor wireline jar performance. This unique tool represents a breakthrough in wireline logging -- a true proactive solution to most types of sticking in open-hole applications. Running the MCT in the tool string reduces the risks associated with data acquisition tools in even the most demanding applications, and allows for reliable wireline operations where logging-while-drilling and drill-pipe-conveyed logging were once the only options. When included as part of the tool string, the MCT begins to free a tool the moment it becomes stuck -- instantly activating upon reaching a preset tension setting and efficiently impacting the tool string with the potential of more than 36,000 pounds of force. The MCT also relatches instantly to provide impact after impact for as long as it takes to free the string.
